Rambo says he’s ready to fill in at either safety position, in light of Meriweather suspension

Mike Jones shares what he saw at Washington's second-to-last open session of the preseason.

Redskins rookie safety Bacarri Rambo is inactive after seven consecutive games of action. Meanwhile, tight end Jordan Reed and Robert Griffin III also are inactive, as expected.

Cornerback David Amerson is active and expected to play a week after suffering a concussion in Dallas.

Baccari Rambo was taken out of the starting lineup, but says he'll let the coaches coach, and work on improving.

Mike Jones answers fans' questions on Mike Shanahan's handling of Robert Griffin III, the benching of Baccari Rambo, the health of Brandon Meriweather and the potential of Jordan Reed.

The Washington Redskins are almost there. On Monday night they at last open their season against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Two of the Redskins' seven draft picks are now under contract.
