Beating Dallas to clinch the division title in Week 17 ... Has there been a better Redskins win since the last Super Bowl victory?

Aside from the obvious candidates, Opening Kick asks fans which Redskin needs to play well for Washington to beat Dallas?

If Washington beats Dallas to win the NFC East on Sunday, they would probably host Seattle; if they lose but get help to earn a wild-card berth, the most likely scenario appears to be a trip to San Francisco.

For some perspective on how great it is to be playing the Cowboys for the NFC East title in Week 17, Opening Kick looks back to Redskins fans' expectations at earlier points in the season.

The matchup for the NFC East title has been moved from 1 p.m. on Fox to 8:20 p.m. on NBC as part of the NFL's flexible scheduling arrangement.

Despite their win, and the losses by the Cowboys and Giants, the Redskins didn’t clinch a playoff berth on Sunday, because they entered the day needing the Giants, Vikings and Bears to all lose, and only New York did so.

The Redskins' fortunes this week are also affected by the Cowboys and Giants. Opening Kick looks for picks in all three NFC East-involved games.

As the Redskins chase a division title and the Eagles chase a top pick, their meeting this week begs the question: Are they this season's biggest surprises and disappointments?

But NFC crown would still be up for grabs in Week 17.

With a Week 17 Redskins-Cowboys game potentially deciding it, which NFC East team will finish strongest and win the division?
