When I decided to write about Fairfax’s Mosaic District for my first Destination:Design shopping column, who knew it was going to be so hard to locate?

The owners of Mosaic assured me I was not alone and that they were in touch with mapping authorities to fix the problems. But meanwhile, lots of friends e-mailed me to say that Mosaic was near Four Sisters, one of their favorite family-owned Vietnamese bistros, which moved from the Eden Center.

So now when I go back to Mosaic to catch a movie at Angelika Film Center, flip through the Moroccan rugs at Timothy Paul or hunt for discount Jason Wu dresses at Last Call Studio at Neiman Marcus, I will head first to Four Sisters for some crispy vegetarian spring rolls and grilled lemongrass chicken.

What neighborhood should I feature for my next Destination:Design? It’s going to be a monthly feature so I need lots of ideas. Please email me at konciusj@washpost.com or send me a tweet at @jurakoncius.
