If you're headed to this weekend's Capital Jazz Fest at Merriweather Post Pavilion to see Chaka Khan, there's bad news: The  "I Feel For You" singer, who was scheduled to perform Saturday, announced today that she had canceled this weekend's concert, and four others, for "extended vocal rest ordered by her doctor."

Khan canceled the following dates: The Capital Jazz Fest on Saturday; the Pittsburgh JazzLive International Festival on June 9; and her appearances with the Columbus Symphony Orchestra  on June 14 and "Joni: A Portrait in Song" in Toronto on June 18 and 19.

Bilal, Eric Benet saxophonist David Sanborn and pianist Bob James are still on the weekend's Capital Jazz Fest bill. Or you could check out the D.C. Jazz Festival, which kicked off yesterday and runs through June 16.
