Nine Inch Nails announce D.C. tour date, release new single

Industrial rock pioneer Trent Reznor announced today that his newly re-formed Nine Inch Nails will be performing at the Verizon Center on Friday, Oct. 18. Tickets go on sale next Friday, June 14, at 10 a.m. through Live Nation. If you register through the band's Web site, you can purchase tickets before the general public. Canadian instrumentalists Godspeed You! Black Emperor are set to open.

Last week, Reznor announced he had secretly finished a new NIN album with Atticus Ross and Alan Moulder, the band's first studio album since 2008's "The Slip." The new album, "Hesitation Marks," will be released Sept. 3, but Reznor released a single, "Came Back Haunted" this morning. Listen below:
