This much we know: Bethesda's Boloco, at 4930 Elm Street, was burglarized in the early morning hours of May 27. According to the Montgomery County Police Department's report, there were no signs of forced entry, and property was stolen.
Who's responsible? If you have information on the break-in, your details could prove lucrative -- and filling. Boloco is offering a $1,000 reward and 50 burritos for information that leads to the apprehension of the suspect depicted in a surveillance video released by the restaurant.
In the video, a suspect crawls to the store's safe, enters the code, opens it and appears to remove a cash drawer before moving on to the registers, which are empty. The suspect, whose head and face area are concealed by a sheet or bag (the pithily annotated video notes the suspect's "sweet hat") then exits the store through a door along along Elm Street.
As with any crime, if you have information on the potential suspect, you should contact the Montgomery County Police Department. But if you want your $1,000 and 50 burritos (be sure to try the Cajun, which is quite tasty) you should also send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
