Patio umbrellas no match for Mother Nature

Bar di Bari doesn't open until next week, but the new European-style cafe and bar at 14th and R streets NW already has a mess to tidy up. Owner Aaron Gordon was testing some new patio furniture when this afternoon's severe weather blew through the District. Three of his five umbrellas were ruined, reports The Post's Maura Judkis, who was touring the space at the time. "Is this a good omen or a bad omen?" Gordon asked; head chef and manager Stephanie MacGlaughlin replied: "It's like rain on our wedding day."
