This is what Shaw’s restaurant boom could look like

You might have seen our 14th Street flow chart last week, intended to make sense of the myriad restaurant openings that have helped transform the neighborhood. It looks like we might soon need to start another one for Shaw.

Shaw Main Streets, the neighborhood's business development organization, posted an updated list Monday of everything that's slated to open in the neighborhood, which stretches from Mount Vernon Square to U Street and Sixth to Ninth streets NW, in the not-too-distant future. The list includes 20 restaurants and bars, along with a grocery store, two hotels and a hair salon.

While most of these planned openings have already been reported here and elsewhere -- among them, Derek Brown and Travis Croxton's oyster bar Eat the Rich; Corduroy sister restaurant Baby Wale; and the revival of the Hot Shoppes at the new Marriott Marquis -- it's striking to see everything cataloged in one place. Other things to look forward to: A beer garden (Dacha), a fish taco joint (FishNet), a brew pub (Right Proper Brewing Company) and three Asian restaurants (Mandalay, Ching and Thai-Ger, which comes from Taw Vigsittaboot of Thai X-ing).

We've mapped all of the restaurants, and their expected opening dates, below:
