A bar focused on wine and its favorite companions -- cheese, chocolate and charcuterie -- is coming to the edge of Georgetown next month. ENO, a chainlet with locations in San Francisco, Chicago and San Diego, among other cities, is opening its newest outpost at 2810 Pennsylvania Ave. NW, in a former clothing store next to the Four Seasons Georgetown Hotel. It's ENO's first turf on the East Coast.

ENO's other locations have gotten strong reviews on Yelp -- even in San Francisco, where people are picky about their wine bars -- though a few people have groused that it can be pricey. Expect a deep assortment of domestic and international wines, starting at $9 per glass; roughly half of ENO's bottles will pour for under $50 each.

Locals are well represented, with selections from Virginia's King Family Vineyards, Paradise Springs Winery and Barboursville Vineyards. Pair your glass with charcuterie from Stachowski’s, chocolate from Gearhart's and cheese from Calkins Creamery in Pennsylvania and Cherry Glenn Goat Cheese Co. in Maryland.

And if you're interested in some wine news and tidbits, ENO DC is already on Twitter. Stay tuned for a more precise opening date.
