Online boutique Tuckernuck popping-up in Georgetown’s Cady’s Alley

The Georgetown-based online retailer Tuckernuck is opening its first brick-and-mortar location in Cady's Alley Thursday night with a celebratory opening party from 7 to 9 p.m. Hand-selected pieces from their favorite brands and a few new lines will be on display and will be available in the space through January 5.

Roxy Te of Society Social will be on hand to discuss partnering with Tuckernuck in their push to homeware. Clothing from preppy heritage brands like Barbour, St. James and Dubarry will be available along with up-and-coming women's brands Devon Baer, Sail to Sable and Elizabeth McKay.

And of course, plenty of monogrammed items -- the epitome of a Tuckernuck gift idea. Shop hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday-Saturday and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.
