The bakery aficionados at Ted’s Bulletin have made Thanksgiving dinner portable once again.
The restaurant's special Thanksgiving Pop-Tart returns with turkey, stuffing and gravy topped with a cranberry glaze and a dollop of sweet potato mash.
“It really does taste like Thanksgiving, as corny as that sounds,” said the Matchbox Food Group's Ashlie Levy.
This is the second year Ted's has whipped up a savory holiday Pop-Tart, Levy said, and the restaurant is adding a second offering this year: a sweet potato casserole treat topped with toasted marshmallow.
You can order both a la carte or by the baker's dozen, Levy said, and the treats will be available at Ted’s on Barracks Row and 14th Street through Dec. 1.
Speaking of locations, the third Ted's is nearing completion at the Reston Town Center at 11948 Market Street. Levy said an opening date will be announced soon.
