Spot the rhino running around D.C. for a chance at $100

If you see a person in a rhino costume running around downtown D.C. this week, it's okay to do a double take – as long as you remember to Instagram it. After all, it might be your chance to win $100 worth of food and beer.

Meridian Pint and the Lost Rhino Brewing Company are bringing back the summer's Find the Rhino contest, but with a twist. Instead of giving a free beer to people who find the rhino and upload a picture to Instagram, Twitter or Meridian Pint's Facebook page, the bar will give a $100 gift certificate to one random photographer each day.

The rhino will be on the loose between 6 and 7 p.m. Tuesday through Friday. He won't be hanging around Columbia Heights, either: the rhino's D.C. Beer Week travels took him as far afield as Nationals Park and Georgetown. Follow Meridian Pint's twitter account for clues. When you spot him, take a photo and hashtag it #Ifoundtherhino. One picture per day with that tag will be selected for the prize. Happy hunting.
