The District
Osteria Morini is offering all-day happy hour at 11:30 a.m.

Silo has decided to press on with the debut of its lunch menu, despite the snow. It's not a snow day special, but you can be the first to try dishes such as a lobster-avocado sandwich, or a vegan spinach, apple and grapefruit salad.

• DC Reynolds is offering buy-one, get-one drinks all day.

Right Proper is open at 11 a.m. for growler fills.

• Sixth Engine is opening at 2 p.m. (instead of the usual 5 p.m.) and starting happy hour early.

• Bearnaise is offering $5 hot toddies all day. (UPDATE: Bearnaise decided to close early.)

Hill Country is offering all-day happy hour.

Kangaroo Boxing Club opens at noon.

Mockingbird Hill is giving away free glasses of sherry from 5 to 6 p.m.

Buffalo and Bergen at Union Market has $3 hot cider and $10 Kentucky Snowballs, a snowcone made with bourbon.

Cashion's Eat Place will not have dinner service tonight, but the bar will be open for a special happy hour from 5 to 9 p.;m.

Irish Whiskey's Snow Day Happy Hour has $4 beer and wine from noon to close.

• Bullfeathers happy hour includes $5 warm drinks (hot toddies, Irish coffee) and seasonal craft beers, such as Southern Tier 2Xmas and Troegs Mad Elf.

• You can get half-price bottles of wine all night at Dunya in Shaw.

Alba Osteria offers half-price pizza at the bar all day, and happy hour deals from 4-7 p.m.

Vinoteca's $5 wine happy hour has been extended all night.

Duffy's Irish Pub opens at 2 p.m. for drinks, with free tater tots until the kitchen opens at 4 p.m.

The W's Living Room bar is pouring a barrel-aged Manhattan for $8.

Jack Rose has $5 hot cocktails all night, including hot bourbon cider and hot toddies.

BLT Steak's hot cocktails are half-price ($6 instead of $12) "all day and night," including a Dark and Stormy Cider and a hot toddy made with Earl Grey-infused Hennessey cognac.

Bourbon's Glover Park location will have half-price draft beer all night.

Meridian Pint will open at 2 p.m.

Bar Charley offers a choice of $3 Irish Coffee and hot toddies or $3 Schlitz tallboys.

El Chucho has a choice of ciders for $3: pomegranate with mezcal or bourbon, or mulled pineapple with dark rum.

• At Policy, get half-price sliders all night. (UPDATE: Policy has decided to close early.)

• Italian red wines by the glass are half off at Sonoma for the snow day.

Westend Bistro offers an extended happy hour as well, with $3.50 beers and $6 wines until close.

Chez Billy has $8 hot toddies all night with your choice of rum or whiskey.

The Brixton is serving mulled wine for $5 beginning at 5 p.m.

Bar Pilar is open and offering snow day drink specials from 3 to 7 p.m.

• Get happy hour drinks all night at Daikaya.

• Happy hour lasts all night at the H Street Country Club.

• Osteria Marzano in Alexandria will also be doing an all-day happy hour. Deals include $10 cheese or pepperoni pizzas, $2 giant meatballs, and $5 flatbreads.

Fuego Cocina is offering an all-day happy hour (though the bar can't tell you what it's pouring).

• Because schools are closed for the snow day, kids eat free (until 7 p.m.) at Ireland's Four Courts.

• Happy hour at Bracket Room is already underway, and will continue until 9 p.m.

• At Food, Wine & Co., all-day specials include Snow Blind brews for $5, and an all-night happy hour beginning at 4.

Quench in Rockville is giving adults happy hour drink prices all day, and free mocktails for the kids.

Quarry House Tavern has half-price burgers and $3 PBR tallboys.

• Jackie's and Sidebar both offer $3 mulled wine and Natty Boh all day.

• Tonight, head over to the snow day bar party that Redwood is throwing, featuring happy hour all night. The entree and pizza menu will be limited.

• At Brickside, the snow day special is $12 burgers and beer and $10 pitchers.

• Black Jack is closed.

• Dino is closed.

• The newly opened Flight wine bar is closed tonight, with normal service resuming tomorrow.

Trummer's on Main is closed.

Doner Bistro in Leesburg is closed.

Fire Works Pizza in Leesburg is closed.

Science Club is closed.

• Tonight's concert with Skypunch and Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots at DC9 has been cancelled.

• Tonight's concert with In This Moment, Butcher Babies, Devour The Day and All Hail The Yeti at the Fillmore has been postponed until Feb. 2. All tickets will be honored for the new date, and refunds are available at the place of purchase.

Arts and entertainment closings and cancellations

• The National Zoo is closed, so you can't visit Bao Bao on your day off. (UPDATE: All Smithsonian museums are closing at 4 p.m.)

• Strathmore will be closed at noon.

• The U.S. Botanic Garden is closed.

• The National Gallery of Art is closed, which means the Sculpture Garden and ice rink are also closed.

• The Phillips Collection is closed.

• The Holocaust Museum is closed.

• The National Museum of Women in the Arts is closed.

• AFI Silver Theatre will close early, with no screenings tonight in the 9 p.m. hour.

• The Montgomery County Mall will be closing at 5 p.m.
