Civil rights film screenings

To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the National Archives hosts screenings of "A Time for Justice" and "Mighty Times: The Children’s March," two Academy Award-winning documentaries about the civil rights struggle.

National Independence Day Parade

We're sure you have your plans set for the Fourth of July, but you can't forget about this annual parade presented by the National Park Service and Diversified Events. The parade features local bands, floats, drill teams and much more.

Independence Day concert and fireworks

The Workhouse Arts Center continues Fourth of July celebrations with an event featuring fireworks and music by local artists FeelFree and Caravan of Thieves. Food vendors include Fred's BBQ, Sarah's Snowballs and others.

Da Originalz
