Momofuku’s to-go lunch specials will now be available every weekday

Beginning Monday, you can pick up your lunch to-go five days a week at Momofuku, should your appetite and wallet allow it.

After introducing Pupusa Mondays about a month ago, the CityCenterDC outpost of chef-owner David Chang's New York institution is expanding its mid-day offerings. Two dishes will now be available five days a week: the Momo Bap, a bibimbap-style dish with poached egg, Korean chili sauce and vegetables; and the Wedgeless Wedge salad with Benton's bacon, ranch dressing and radish. Both are $14.

The rest of the options center around different specials each day:

Mondays: Pupusas ($12), accompanied by rice and beans. There are now three flavors -- spinach and artichoke, spicy brisket and cheese, buffalo chicken -- and you get your choice of two.

Tuesdays: Pho ga ($10), a chicken soup with rice noodles, Thai basil and bean sprouts.

Wednesdays: Sausage biscuit ($10) with Sichuan honey butter, egg yolk and bitter Korean salad.

Thursdays: Tonkatsu ($14), fried pork cutlet with poached egg, cucumber and sweet and sour chili sauce.

Fridays: Fried chicken ($12), one thigh, one breast, coleslaw and buttermilk biscuit.

The lunches will be available from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays -- while supplies last, of course.
