Addie's is back.

The Rockville restaurant that Jeff and Barbara Black first opened in 1995 will be revived in Potomac. The restaurant closed in 2013, and the Blacks promised it would return.

It's taken a couple of years, but the second iteration of the spot named after Jeff Black's grandmother will debut in the Park Potomac development, which is home to Founding Farmers, Sugo and a handful of other restaurants.

"I'm asked almost every week, 'when are you reopening Addie's,'" Jeff Black said in a press release.

Dishes from Addie's, namely the mussels, have appeared at several of the Black Restaurant Group's other spots, and some will be at the new location, too. The menu will also feature several animal-product-free dishes since the Blacks' two sons are vegan. Addie's will include a raw bar and cocktail bar, too.

An opening date for the 4,000-square-foot space has yet to be announced.
