Don’t feel like going to the office? This robot will take your place.

(DoubleRobotics)

The Double robot takes the idea of telecommuting and videoconferencing to another level. A user working from home can wheel the robot around the office to have something of a physical presence. It is steered remotely via an iPad, iPhone or computer with Google Chrome installed.

The 15-pound robot can stand as tall as five feet, or as short as 3 feet 11 inches. It’s up to you! Whatever makes your co-workers feel the least creeped out, and gives you the best vantage point.

There’s a stiff price for the luxury of not dealing with co-workers in the flesh. The robot costs $2,499 plus the price of the iPad you attach to it.

How would you feel about a Double in your office?
