For $50,000, you too can look like a Transformer

The SXSW Interactivity Festival may have ended a few days ago, but we’re going to take one last look back! Here’s one of the crazier things I ran into. It’s essentially an exoskeleton that you can strap on to your body.

Skeletronics mechanical designer Tomohiro Aka told me they hope the suit will find a place in extreme sports. While it looks like a lot of fun, the price is awfully high for most of us. You can learn more about the project on their Web site.
