Most tourists can pick out the Lincoln and Jefferson memorials on a map. But the District is home to several other monuments, including those of inventors, composers, war heroes, foreign dignitaries, and even animals. Do you know where to find some of the lesser-known works of honorary art in the District?

Place a marker close to the memorial and you’ll earn 3 points. If you’re a little farther away but still in the ballpark, you’ll get 1 point. Feel free to use the plus sign in the upper-right-hand corner to zoom in on the maps, to make it easier to plant your points.
