Days after two baby bald eagles were born at the National Arboretum in Washington, there’s plenty of chatter about what to name the two birds.

On social media, eagle fans have ticked off several possible names for the duo, which are nicknamed “DC2” and “DC3” for now after being born Friday and over the weekend. Their parents are named, “Mr. President” and “The First Lady,” and the pair successfully raised “DC1” last year.

Several eagle-promoting groups and government agencies are involved in the “official” naming process, which is still being worked out with details to come in the next few weeks. They are accepting suggestions on the Facebook pages of the American Eagle Foundation and the USDA; then the public will get to weigh in.
