Add this to the list of things it’s probably a bad idea to do if you’re remotely famous: fall asleep in the company of strangers, lest you become a subject of someone’s post-coital knockout selfie.

New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman found himself photographed in a rather compromising position when a woman, identified only as Sabrina, posted a selfie on Tinder in bed with a man she claimed was Edelman.

“Just f—– Edelman no lie,” she captioned the photo. Deadspin’s got a screengrab.

So much about this is bizarre, given that Tinder is hook-up app. What exactly is the logic here? Swipe right if you’re a Pats fan?

It turns out plenty of others were wondering the logic behid Sabrina’s move too, because she told TMZ she was hounded about the picture after she posted it — and not in a good way. She told TMZ she was even banned from some Boston nightclubs because of the move.

“I made a mistake. I feel really bad about it,” she reportedly said. “He passed out and I was bored I guess. I was drunk … and I made a mistake and I feel terrible about it.”

Well, now Edelman — who hasn’t said a word about the incident — Justin Bieber and Odell Beckham Jr. of the New York Giants can form a club. Bieber made headlines after a Brazilian woman caught him unawares and uploaded a video to YouTube:

Apparently, Bieber fell asleep on a couch at a concert after-party. And a blonde named Stephanie recently shared on Tinder that she slept with Beckham. She posted a picture of herself cuddled up with the wide receiver in a club, which prompted this response from Beckham:
