Nationals vs. Cardinals discussion thread: Game 133

Stephen Strasburg Alex Brandon/AP

Stephen Strasburg (15-6, 3.05 ERA), making one of the last few starts of his season, takes the mound for the Nationals on Sunday. His last outing was the worst of his career, allowing nine hits and seven runs, five earned against the Marlins on Wednesday. His command was off and he struggled to adjust to batters and their approaches to him. But he is still learning, and, lest we forget, has thrown only over a full season’s worth of starts over the past three years. He is opposed by sinker-balling right-hander Jake Westbrook (13-10, 3.94 ERA). As always, talk about the game here.

UPDATE, 1:26 p.m.: The game time has been delayed ten minutes to 1:45 p.m.
