The Nationals dropped two of three games against the St. Louis Cardinals over the weekend, but the silver lining is that they now have an opportunity to claim the NL East at home. Monday is the Nationals’ second chance with their magic number down to one. John Lannan (4-0, 4.23 ERA), who spent the majority of the season in AAA but has thrived in big games for the Nationals this season, takes the mound. He will be opposed by right-hander Kyle Kendrick (10-12, 4.08 ERA), who the Nationals shelled for three home runs and five runs a week ago. As always, talk about the game here.
