Nationals vs. Cardinals lineups: NLDS Game 3

Dave Tulis/AP

For the first time since 1933, playoff baseball will be played in Washington D.C. as the Nationals and Cardinals seek to take a 2-1 lead in this National League division series Wednesday afternoon.

Washington will put Edwin Jackson, the only member of their rotation with postseason experience, on the mound to face the team he won the 2011 World Series with. Meanwhile, the Cardinals turn to returning ace Chris Carpenter, who has pitched just 17 innings this year after undergoing surgery to repair nerve damage on his shoulder.

First pitch is at 1:07 p.m. on MLB Network.
