Jayson Werth was scratched from today’s game against the Marlins in Viera because of tightness in his right forearm, a result of side-arming a throw from right field during Friday’s game. Werth told Manager Davey Johnson it was fine and could play because he wanted the at-bats. “He didn’t want to make the trip to Lakeland [on Sunday] with me,” Johnson said. “I think he wanted to go fishing.”
