The Nationals will face a fellow contender tonight in the loaded Reds, whose lineup will provide the first insight into to one of the biggest questions surrounding the Nationals’ offseason: Will not having a left-handed specialist in the bullpen hurt them, or will their powerful stable of right-handers make it irrelevant? With left-handed mashers Joey Votto and Jay Bruce anchoring the Reds lineup, and Shin-Soo Choo leading off, chances are Nationals relievers will be tested in big spots against some fearsome lefties this weekend.

For the Nationals, it’s the usual, with Kurt Suzuki catching Dan Haren.
