Adam LaRoche returns to the lineup after missing two games with back tightness. Coupled with Monday’s off day, LaRoche had three days to rest, stretch and loosen his back. The rest of the lineup is the same behind Gio Gonzalez, who is throwing to Wilson Ramos.

Old friend and former National Adam Dunn is not in the lineup, as the White Sox lose the designated hitter in Washington, and Gonzalez is a left-hander.
