Nationals-White Sox start delayed 15 minutes after umpires get stuck in traffic

The Nationals’ 7:05 p.m. start time tonight was pushed back 15 minutes to 7:20  because – this is serious – the umpiring crew led by chief Tom Hallion were stuck in traffic on the way to the park and did not arrive in time. Again, that’s not a joke: The umpires are late.

I know the cherry blossoms are nice, fellas, but people want to see a ballgame here. Maybe try Metro next time.
