Jayson Werth still out: Nationals-Tigers lineup

Jayson Werth is out of Wednesday’s lineup against the Tigers even though Manager Davey Johnson said the day before that the outfielder could play after missing five days with a tight hamstring and sore ankle. The best guess for now is that Johnson is being very cautious with Werth as the forecast calls for rain later. The rest of the lineup is as expected against longtime Nationals silencer Anibal Sanchez, who has held Werth to a career 5 for 30 against him.
