Cubs at Nationals discussion thread: Game 35

Ross Detwiler (1-3, 2.50 ERA) takes the mound against the Cubs, the first meeting of the season between the two opponents. He will be opposed by Jeff Samardzija (1-4, 3.09 ERA), a hard-throwing right-hander off to a good start. Scott Hairston, who is hitting fifth, destroys left-handed pitching. The Nationals will be without Bryce Harper, out for only one game. Jayson Werth is headed to the disabled list. The lineups are here. As always, talk about the game here.
