Today’s Nationals-Twins lineups

They’ve removed the tarp from the infield at Nationals Park. Out in the home bullpen, Stephen Strasburg is throwing a bullpen session, his first pitching off a mound since a lat strain forced him from his last start and eventually landed him on the disabled list. The session should put him in line to throw a simulated game Tuesday in Colorado, which Manager Davey Johnson said two days ago was the plan.

Denard Span will face his old team for the first time today, and Josh Willingham will be in town for the first time since the Nats traded him for Henry Rodriguez and Corey Brown. Here are the lineups:

1. Denard Span, CF

2. Jayson Werth, RF

3. Ryan Zimmerman, 3B

4. Adam LaRoche, 1B

5. Ian Desmond, SS
