The Nationals have not much luck lately against back-of-the-rotation starters, but they have another chance today facing lefty Scott Diamond, who comes in with a 4.66 ERA. The Nationals will counter one of their best pitchers, Jordan Zimmermann, in the opener of today’s doubleheader.

The Twins have stacked their lineup with four lefties (including Diamond) and four switch-hitters against Zimmermann — the only right-hander is Brian Dozier. Lefties have hit .256 against Zimmermann this year, compared to righties hitting just .162. Talk about Game 1 of the Nats-Twins doubleheader right here.
