Nationals-Mets discussion thread: Game 80

Davey Johnson met Taylor Jordan, today’s starter, for the first time this morning. The Nationals called him up from Class AA Harrisburg to replace Dan Haren, who is on the disabled list with shoulder inflammation. Jordan appeared calm and pretty jacked up to be in a major league clubhouse.

Johnson starter veteran Kurt Suzuki in a day game after a night game in order to give Jordan guidance. The Nationals will have to score against Dillon Gee, who has yielded on run in 12 2/3 innings against the Nationals this year over two starts. Talk about the game right here.
