Tonight’s Nationals-Phillies lineups

(Alex Brandon / AP) (Alex Brandon / AP)

The Nationals will try to prevent the Phillies from sealing a series victory tonight. Given their  trouble lately against left-handed pitchers, they have their hands full. Cliff Lee, one of the best lefties in the game, will start for the Phillies against Gio Gonzalez. The Marlins already gave the Nationals a boost by beating the Braves. Their deficit in the NL East shrunk to 5 1/2 games.
