Nationals-Dodgers discussion thread: Game 98

(Jonathan Newton/The Washington Post)

Jordan Zimmermann (12-4, 2.58 ERA) makes his first start of the so-called second half. He last pitched 10 day ago and passed on pitching in the All-Star Game so that he could rest his stiff neck. He won’t have to face Yasiel Puig, who the Nationals have held hitless all series, but Matt Kemp returns to the lineup. Clayton Kershaw (8-6, 1.98 ERA) will take the mound for the Dodgers. The lineups are here. As always, discuss the game here.

James Wagner joined the Post in August 2010 and, prior to covering the Nationals, covered high school sports across the region.
