Nationals-Mets discussion thread: Game 105

(John McDonnell/The Washington Post)

The Nationals sit 8.5 games behind the NL East-leading Atlanta Braves and only half a game ahead of the Philadelphia Phillies. The lone Nationals wins since the all-star break have both come as a result of walk-off home runs. Dan Haren (4-11, 5.79 ERA) takes the mound on Saturday and opposes Dillon Gee (7-7, 4.07 ERA). The lineups are here. As always, discuss the game and other stuff here.

James Wagner joined the Post in August 2010, wrote about high school sports across the region for two years and has covered the Nationals since the middle of the 2012 season.
