Nationals-Tigers discussion thread: Game 108

(Matt Slocum / AP)

The Nationals receive a break today with Miguel Cabrera out of the Tigers’ lineup. Cabrera irritated a hip/abdominal injury last night, and so the Tigers will be without the best right-handed hitter on the planet against Gio Gonzalez. Of course, the Nationals will also have to face Justin Verlander. In a departure, Gonzalez is sporting high socks this afternoon. Talk about the game right here.
