Today’s Nationals-Brewers lineups: Jayson Werth talks his way in

Jayson Werth woke up this morning with his tweaked groin feeling good enough to play. Although Manager Davey Johnson said yesterday he planned to sit Werth, Werth convinced him he could play, and he will play right field today against Kyle Lohse, who has a strong recent history against the Nationals.  “A day can go a long way,” Werth said.

Second baseman Anthony Rendon, who is 6 for his last 52, will get a day off in favor of Steve Lombardozzi.
