Nationals-Cubs discussion thread: Game 127

(Maddie Meyer/TWP)

Stephen Strasburg (6-9, 2.93 ERA) takes the mound on Thursday after the shortest outing of his career. He was ejected in the second inning on Saturday after throwing three wild pitches, two behind Andrelton Simmons, an inning after he hit Justin Upton on the hip. “I’m looking for him to throw a complete game because he’s well-rested,” joked Manager Davey Johnson before the game. Travis Wood (7-10, 3.13 ERA) starts for the Cubs. The lineups are here. As always, talk about the game here.

This game will not start on time at 2:20 p.m. EST because of rain. More to come. Update: The game is scheduled to start at 4:20 p.m. EST.
