Tonight’s Nationals-Marlins lineups

Shortly before 3:30 p.m., the grounds crew spread the tarp over the infield at Nationals Park. The frightful radar suggests it may stay there for a while. Naturally, the rain came on the day Stephen Strasburg is starting only after being bumped back twice because of forearm irritation. We have no more information about the weather, a possible delay or a possible postponement, but we’ll pass it along when we do.

If and when the Nationals and Marlins get going, their lineups will look like this:

1. Denard Span, CF

2. Ryan Zimmerman, 3B

3. Jayson Werth, RF

4. Bryce Harper, LF

5. Ian Desmond, SS

6. Adam LaRoche, 1B

7. Wilson Ramos, C

8. Steve Lombardozzi, 2B

9. Stephen Strasburg, SP

1. Donovan Solano, 2B

2. Ed Lucas, 3B

3. Christian Yelich, LF

4. Giancarlo Stanton, RF

5. Justin Ruggiano, CF

6. Logan Morrison, 1B

7. Adeiny Hechavarria, SS

8. Koyie Hill, C

9. Tom Koelher, SP
