Jordan Zimmermann can become the first National League pitcher to reach 20 wins this season and only the second Nationals pitcher in their brief history. Last year, Gio Gonzalez won 21, still the team record. The Cardinals have tormented him, though. In five career starts, not counting a shellacking in Game 2 of last year’s playoffs, Gonzalez is 0-2 with a 9.12 ERA against St. Louis. Talk about the game right here.
