Nationals-Tigers lineups and discussion thread

We have got a wicked pitching matchup today in Viera. Freshly anointed opening day starter Stephen Strasburg faces reigning AL Cy Young winner Max Scherzer. Giddy. Up.

Like last night, the Nationals have a lineup that could pass regular-season muster. Matt Williams made a few tweaks. He swapped Jayson Werth and Ryan Zimmerman in the three and four spots. He’s certainly been tinkering with how Werth-Zimmerman-Harper stack in the middle of the lineup. Zimmerman has hit fifth some games.

Also, Danny Espinosa gets the start at second. Most of those have gone to Anthony Rendon.

3. Jayson Werth, RF

4. Ryan Zimmerman, 3B

5. Bryce Harper, LF

6. Wilson Ramos, C

7. Adam LaRoche, 1B

8. Danny Espinosa, 2B

9. Stephen Strasburg, SP
