The Nationals face Braves right-hander Julio Teheran using yet another variation on their lineup. Bryce Harper is hitting second while Ian Desmond hits sixth. Anthony Rendon is back down in the order, hitting seventh, in front of Jose Lobaton.

Harper is 3 for 17 with eight strikeouts to start the season, has shown frustration at the plate and Manager Matt Williams has noticed that the outfielder’s timing is off. But Harper has hit Teheran well; he is 5 for 10 with two home runs. Denard Span is 7 for 15 against Teheran and Desmond 5 for 14.
