With Danny Espinosa struggling and with a leg bruise, Manager Matt Williams is turning to Kevin Frandsen at second base again for the second time in three games. Espinosa is hitting .209/.265/.379. Even with a right-handed pitcher on the mound — Henderson Alvarez starting for the Marlins — Williams wants right-handed Frandsen in the lineup. Blake Treinen makes his second start in the rotation as Gio Gonzalez’s replacement.
