Nationals-Rockies discussion thread: Game 84

6:05 p.m.: The game will start at 6:30 p.m., the team announced. It hasn’t rained yet.

5:48 p.m.: The 6 p.m. start of the game has been delayed due to approaching weather. It’s not raining right now. Updates to come.

The Nationals can sweep the Rockies and extend their winning streak to five games behind Doug Fister (6-2, 2.83 ERA). Another win would push them to eight games over .500 for the first time this season. The Nationals face their third left-handed pitcher in a row, this time a southpaw named Tyler Matzek (1-2 4.24 ERA). The lineups are here. As always, talk about the game below.
