Tonight’s Nationals-Orioles lineups

Cool series starting up tonight at Nationals Park. The first-place Orioles and half-a-game-out-of-first-place Nationals, two teams separated by less than 50 miles, will play four games in cities over four nights. It begins with an excellent pitching matchup between Stephen Strasburg and Chris Tillman.

Matt Williams offered no surprises with the Nationals lineup, which stays the same it’s been for a week, aside from the one day Bryce Harper hit second and Wilson Ramos got rest. The Orioles are a bit of a disadvantage in this park, because Nelson Cruz is their regular designated hitter. He needs to play somewhere, and so the Orioles have to choose between playing red-hot Steve Pearce and Chris Davis.
