Gio Gonzalez (6-6, 3.56 ERA) takes the mound for the Nationals against the Phillies. The Nationals lead the Braves by 1 1/2 games entering Thursday’s games. Nationals starters have allowed only six earned runs over the past 42 innings. Each stater has gone seven innings and allowed two runs or less in each game. Cliff Lee (4-5, 3.78 ERA) will start for the Phillies. The lineups are here. As always, talk about the game here.

James Wagner joined the Post in August 2010, wrote about high school sports across the region for two years and has covered the Nationals since the middle of the 2012 season.
