The bobsledding competition at Sochi doesn’t begin for another week, but several of the sport’s athletes are already stealing headlines with their misadventures at the Games.

You probably didn’t know Johnny Quinn’s name before today, but by now you’re almost certainly familiar with the American after his triumphant escape from a locked bathroom.

Earlier this week, the beloved Jamaican bobsled team also had some trouble when its luggage was temporarily lost on the trip to Russia.

But this story from early Saturday morning might top them all.

According to her tweet, British bobsledder Rebekah Wilson encountered this frightening scenario and couldn’t help but consider the worst.

Luckily for the brakewoman and her driver, Paula Walker, Wilson minded the gap and avoided catastrophe.
