With the United States and Canada facing off in Thursday’s women’s gold medal game and Friday’s men’s semifinal, Twitter has clearly chosen what the stakes should be in each contest.

The Canadian singer, who’s had a rash of questionable behavior recently, seems to provide both sides with ample motivation.

With the U.S. falling to Canada in OT in the women’s gold medal game, the onus will truly be on the American men Friday to keep the pop star from being States-bound.
