Election 2016 has been unlike any previous election, and I’ve covered more than a few. The first woman leading a national ticket was up against the first bigoted maniac willing to deploy outright prejudicial slurs and anti-democratic threats for media coverage and (presumably) votes. The accusations flew fast and furious, and when the dust settled … well, the dust actually hasn’t settled yet.

I tried to bring some insight and clarity to this circus with my cartoons, but let’s just say that opinions on the candidates vary. Here is a sampling of some of my campaign cartoons, with color supplied by my syndicate, Universal Uclick. Laugh, cry or scream. All responses are appropriate.
